BOW BELLS

Flowers are broadly bell-shaped, deep pink colored with a deeper pink on reverse that ages to pale pink with sparse crimson spotting. Flowers are held in relaxed trusses of 4 to 7. Leaves are dark green & new growth is bronze colored.  Has compact, dense habit & doesn't like a lot of sun.  Blooms early to mid spring & reaches roughly 3 feet tall.

BRUCE BRECHTBILL

Flowers are openly funnel-shaped with wavy lobes & are pale pink colored fading lighter towards center with a light yellow throat.  Produces ball-shaped trusses of 10-12 flowers.  Leaves are elliptic, have an apiculate apex, are glossy & olive green.  Plant has a compact, dense habit.  Blooms early to mid spring & reaches roughly 4 feet tall.

 

Calsap

Flowers are tubular funnel-shaped with wavy edges & a white with a dark red blotch coloring with reverse slightly flushed very pale purple.  Produces a conical truss of 18 flowers.  Leaves are oblong, have an apiculate apex, are smooth, convex, & vivid yellowish-green.  Plant needs sun for dense habit.  Blooms in mid spring & reaches roughly 4 feet tall.

CHERRY CHEESECAKE

Almost indescribable!  The flowers have a white background with ruffled dark pink to red edges & a deep red smudge on the upper lobe.  A large leafed variety with dark green leaves, a superb compact form & mounding growth habit.  Superb foundation planting or border accent.  Blooms mid spring & reaches roughly 5 feet tall.

 

CHIKOR

Flowers are saucer-shaped & pale greenish-yellow colored with faint deep yellow spotting on dorsal lobe.  Produces trusses of 3 to 6 flowers.  Leaves are broadly elliptic, glossy & dark green.  Has a compact & round-shaped habit.  Tolerates full sun, blooms early to mid spring & reaches roughly 2 feet tall.

Chinoides

A late to mid-season bloomer with large, rounded trusses each holding a dozen or more clear white bell-shaped flowers with yellow dorsal blotches. Compact, dense form is wider than tall, with excellent even growth habit.  Tolerates full sun & makes an excellent informal hedge or foundation plant.  Blooms mid to late spring & reaches roughly 4 feet tall.

 

CHRISTMAS CHEER

Flowers are openly funnel-shaped, pink colored in bud & open white flushed pink flowers, fading to very pale pink.  Low & mounding, very dense habit.  Drought tolerant as well as both full sun & full shade tolerant.  Blooms early spring & reaches roughly 4 feet tall.

CILPINENSE

Flowers are funnel-shaped & pale pink colored, shaded to a darker pink, held in trusses of 2-3.  Leaves are elliptic, with a broadly acute apex, shiny & dark green colored with a fine covering of light hair.  Has a rounded, open habit & tolerates full shade.  Blooms early spring & reaches roughly 3 feet tall.

 

Cunningham's White

Flowers are funnel-shaped & open white with a ray of pale purple & brown markings. Produces lax trusses of 7 to 8 flowers.  Leaves are oblanceolate, 5" long & dark green in color.   Has a dense habit, blooms mid-late spring & reaches roughly 4 feet tall.

Dora Amateis

Flowers are broadly funnel-shaped, sometimes fragrant & white colored with faint greenish-yellow spotting on dorsal lobe. Held in lax trusses of 6 - 8 flowers.  Leaves are recurved & a dull, dark green coloring.  Produces bronze leaf color if grown in full sun. Prefers some shade for best performance & will tolerate full shade.  Grows twice as wide as tall, blooms early to mid spring & reaches roughly 3 feet tall.

 

GINNY GEE

Flowers are tubular funnel-shaped to widely funnel-shaped with wavy lobes & are white with pink colored mottling at edges both inside & on reverse.  Flowers are held in terminal clusters of multiple buds each with 3-5 flowers.  Leaves are elliptic, with acute apex & dark matte green colored.  Some reddening of leaves in winter occurs on this compact, very dense growth habit.  Blooms early to mid spring & reaches roughly 2 feet tall.

Gomer Waterer

Flowers are openly funnel-shaped, white colored flushed with mauve-pink at the edges with yellow-brown flare in the upper lobe.  Produces dome-shaped trusses of up to 24 flowers.  Leaves are ovate to oblong-obovate, thick and leathery, slightly glossy & deep green colored.  Has a spreading habit & is heat resistant & sun tolerant.  Blooms mid to late spring & reaches roughly 6 feet tall.

 

KODIAK

Silvery white with pink colored ball-shaped trusses develop on a compact growing plant.  Incredible foliage of deep green with light tan-colored indumentum. Blooms mid spring & reaches roughly 4 feet tall.

POMEGRANATE SPLASH

Flowers are openly funnel-shaped with wavy-edges & have an inside pale purplish pink coloring with deep red feathered margin with an outside strong purplish red coloring & deep purplish red blotch & spots. Dome-shaped truss has 14 flowers.  Leaves are elliptic, have a broadly acute apex & are semi-glossy, dark green colored.  Blooms mid spring & reaches roughly 5 feet tall.

 

Snow Lady

Flowers are pure white with brown anthers & are held in lax trusses of 8 flowers. Buds well in shade. Leaves are elliptic, edges & upper surface hairy, glossy, dark green in color.  Has an open, spreading habit, blooms early spring & reaches roughly 3 feet tall.

Teddy Bear

Flowers are funnel-bell-shaped with wavy edges that open light purplish-pink colored & fades to white with yellow-brown spots in throat.  Produces dome-shaped trusses of 8-10 flowers.  Leaves are elliptic to narrowly elliptic, convex, glossy & bullate above with orange indumentum below.  Has a spreading, dense growth habit & tolerates full shade.  Blooms mid spring & reaches roughly 3 feet tall.
