Cupressus glabra ‘Blue Ice’
A compact, conical tree with exceptionally attractive, frosty, silver-blue foliage. Although fairly slow-growing, it will become a substantial tree form over time. It is extremely tolerant of hot sun and drought conditions. Has a broad upright growth habit & reaches roughly 15’ tall by 8’ wide, growing 12” or more a year.
Cupressus macrocarpa ‘Donard Gold’
This upright-branching conifer has distinctive two-toned foliage that contrasts beautifully with its cinnamon-colored bark. Chartreuse new growth fringes the bright lemon yellow inner foliage. Provides an attractive tall backdrop for low shrubs and makes a handsome hedge or screen. Fragrant foliage is reminiscent of citrus. Has a narrow upright growth habit & reaches roughly 15’ tall by 8’ wide in size, growing 6” to 12” a year.
Cupresses macrocarpa 'Wilma'
Very finely textured, small threads of scale-like lemon yellow foliage are the highlight of this compact, narrow, columnar conifer. Reddish, cinnamon colored bark allows the brilliant foliage to stand out even more. Beautiful as a single specimen or planted in a cluster or a privacy screen. Has a narrow upright growth habit & reaches roughly 12’ tall by 4’ wide in size, growing 6” to 10” a year.
Cupressus sempervirens ‘Tiny Tower’
A unique, compact form with exceptionally dense blue-green foliage. Maintains its narrow, columnar form and tidy, well-groomed appearance without pruning. Excellent for formal plantings or to provide structure at the back of the border. Makes a wonderful topiary or container specimen. Has a narrow upright growth habit & reaches roughly 25’ to 30’ tall by 3’ wide in size, growing very slowly.
