Ana Luisa

A hybrid of English & wooly Lavender. Silvery gray foliage appears nearly white at times! Fragrant bluish-purple flowers on long tapered spikes in summer stand out in great contrast to the bright foliage. Good as a dried flower in sachets and potpourri

Anouk

A Spanish variety with deep purple-violet (or white, depending on the variety) flower spikes topped by showy clear purple petal-like bracts rise above the aromatic grey-green foliage. Deer & rabbit resistant & durable, standing up to summer heat and drought. A wonderful container specimen, or landscape accent, for an entryway, border, or rock garden. Evergreen.

 

Betty Blue

An English variety that’s excellent for fresh cut flowers or for drying. The deep blue-violet flowers have a dark purple calyx with a violet corolla. The flowers are somewhat taller than others.

Big Time Blue

An English variety with big, abundant flowers on a compact lavender that is perfect for pots, perennial borders, or massed as a flowering hedge. Aromatic, silvery green foliage contrasts beautifully with its darker flower color. The fragrant, nectar-rich flowers come early & continue from early summer into fall. Drought tolerant & easy to maintain.

 

Blue Spear

An English variety with tall, showy, densely-packed spikes of purple blue, fragrant flowers. Semi-evergreen foliage is gray green in summer, bronze in winter. Containers, cutting, potpourris. Blooms in late spring to summer. Plant in well-drained soil. Low water use. Fertilizing not required. Cut back by a third after flowering.

Blueberry Ruffles

A Spanish variety with tight, compact mound of aromatic gray-green foliage with delightful ruffled violet-purple petals that flutter above the profusion of fragrant, stout bloom spikes. This durable repeat blooming lavender is a delight in landscape & containers. Ideal for sunny borders & rock gardens, with improved heat, humidity, & drought tolerance. Evergreen.

 

Bowles

An English variety. Summer blooming spikes of lavender flowers and aromatic gray-green foliage make this herb a standout in the garden. Maintains a tidy rounded habit.

Buena Vista

Showy deep lavender flowers shine on this sweetly-fragrant strain. It may bloom twice each season if cut back. Excellent for dry flowers too!

 

Dilly Dilly

Beautiful long flower spikes of palest purple rise above compact silvery-gray foliage in summer. Flowers are excellent for cutting or potpourri when dried. A simply heavenly scent!

Fred Boutin

This robust plant produces masses of violet blooms on 8” stems all summer that hold their color nicely when dried. Beautiful large silvery leaves & fragrance. A good choice for low growing hedges.

 

Ghostly Princess

A Spanish variety that is a neat, compact, aromatic mound of finely textured, luminous silver foliage topped by a lovely crown of shimmering lavender-pink flower spikes. A durable, yet charming, early blooming lavender that will enliven landscape or container. Ideal for sunny borders and rock gardens. A frost-hardy evergreen.

Goodwin Creek Gray

A French variety that is a dense mound of finely toothed, silver-grey foliage & beautiful, long, slender, dark purple flower spikes. Very tolerant of heat, sun, & periodic drought. Ideal for sunny perennial borders or rock gardens, & raised beds or containers. In colder climates, overwinter potted plants indoors until spring, after danger of frost. Evergreen.

 

Gros Bleu

A French variety. One of the darkest purple-flowering Lavenders in summer. Borne on exceptionally-long stems, this is the first choice for fresh or dried flowers. It also makes a handsome shrub or hedge in the landscape.

Grosso

A French variety. Spikes of dense purple blooms on tall stems rise above grayish green leaves. Vigorous & disease resistant. Good for drying. Blooms in Summer. Prefers sandy, well-drained soil. Mulch to help protect over winter.

 

Hidcote

An English variety that is a versatile, fragrant evergreen shrub with many uses beyond the herb garden! Deep purple flower spikes above mounds of gray-green foliage provide great color to the front of shrub borders or spotted into the rock garden. Highly effective in mass plantings. Useful for perfumes, sachets, oils & medicinal purposes.

Hidcote Giant

An English variety that is a highly aromatic shrub with a bushy mound of narrow, gray-green foliage, & long stems of violet-blue flower spikes. A wonderful addition to dry, sunny borders & gardens. Works well as a hedge plant & highly effective in mass plantings. A more heat tolerant hybrid of the popular English lavender. Evergreen.

 

Hidcote Pink

A wonderful compact English Lavender with soft pink flower spikes in summer. Good for mid-border or near walkways, it performs best in full sun.

Impress Purple

Purple summer flowers are especially impressive in dried floral bouquets and have a sweet fragrance. An upright, tall growth habit and gray foliage appeal, too.

 

Madrid Blue

A Spanish variety that is unusual due to its vibrant dark blue flower spikes topped with white "wings" & aromatic foliage that can be used for culinary purposes & for mixed containers in spring & summer. Cut spent flowers to promote a longer bloom time.

Munstead

An English variety that is a rugged yet beautiful compact evergreen shrub with mounding, aromatic, gray foliage & an abundance of fragrant, rich lavender-colored flower spikes. Commonly used for perfumes, sachets, & oils. Dried sprigs will deter insects when placed in a closet or room. Gorgeous in perennial borders, herb gardens, rock gardens, & mass plantings.

 

Otto Quast

A Spanish variety that has fragrant, rich royal purple flower spikes that rise above the dense mound of fine, gray-green foliage, providing months of seasonal color. A wonderfully rugged & fuss-free choice for borders & gardens that will tackle summer heat & drought with grace. An excellent choice for an accent in sunny borders & rock gardens. Evergreen.

Phenomenal

A French variety that has elegant, sweetly fragrant mounds of silver foliage yield purple-blue flower spikes with outstanding ornamental & edible qualities. This cold-hardy lavender does not die back in the winter like other varieties & is notable for its disease resistance & heat & humidity tolerance. A must have for sunny gardens! Evergreen.

 

Platinum Blonde

An exquisite variegated English lavender with fragrant lavender-blue flowers on tall, thin, strong, upright stems above a dense, compact mound of narrow, gray-green leaves with cream-colored margins. A wonderful addition to a sunny border, rock garden, or herb garden. An excellent lavender for cutting & drying.

Premier

An English variety that has fragrant gray-green, evergreen foliage topped by aromatic, dark purple buds & violet petals. Great for drying & cooking. Repeat bloomer - a heavy early summer bloom & substantial bloom in the fall as well.

 

Provence

A French variety that is a highly fragrant evergreen shrub with gray-green foliage & abundant purple flower spikes. A wonderful addition to dry, sunny borders & gardens. Useful as hedge or edging in herb gardens. Highly effective in mass plantings. Flowers may be dried & crushed to use in sachets.

Sentivia Blue

An early flowering & highly aromatic English lavender with a compact, upright habit, outstanding basal branching with gray-green foliage, & strong stems supporting large purple-blue flower spikes. A wonderful addition to a sunny border or herb garden. An excellent lavender for cutting and drying. Semi-evergreen.

 

Silver Anouk

A Spanish variety that is a unique, new, compact lavender with stunning silver foliage & dark violet flowers topped by lavender petal-like bracts. This heavy spring bloomer is disease resistant & durable, standing up to summer heat and drought. A perfect landscape accent, in borders, rock gardens, or patio containers. Evergreen.

SuperBlue

An English variety that has fragrant wands of rich lavender-blue flowers that deliver a soothing scent in early & midsummer. Perfect for borders or containers. Neat, compact foliage has good rain & weather tolerance. The large, full blooms are excellent for cutting & drying.

 

Violet Intrigue

An English variety with vibrant violet flowers that bloom on long stems in summer. Excellent for use in cut & dried flower arrangements, it will re-bloom if spent flowers are removed. It's a great choice for a hedge, as well as in containers or in the garden.

Winter Bee

A robust, floriferous Spanish lavender with fine, dense, gray-green foliage & primary stems as well as side branches that produce rich dark purple, fragrant flowers, creating a fuller, even showier display than others. Withstands hot, humid conditions as well as cold, wet weather very well. A great easy-care evergreen shrub for sunny borders and gardens.
