Baden Baden
Flowers open in funnel-shape, bright red & waxy looking. Lax, round truss has 6 flowers. Leaves are broadly oval, glossy, twisted & pointed. Has dense spreading habit & is wider than tall. Blooms mid to late spring & reaches roughly 2 feet tall.
Black Widow
Flowers have wavy edges as they open a dark grayish purple, later aging to darker than dark red with a dark speckled eye. Ball-shaped trusses hold about 19 to 21 flowers. Leaves are long & glossy with the growth habit being upright & spreading. Blooms mid to late spring & reaches roughly 3 feet tall.
Carmen
Produces bright red flowers & can tolerate full sun. Blooms early to mid spring & reaches roughly 1 foot tall.
Crimson Pippons
Produces strong red, beautiful flowers. Blooms mid spring & reaches roughly 2 feet tall.
Dark Lord

Ever Red
The absolute darkest red-purple leaved rhododendron to date with leaves so dark they sometimes appear almost black. This smaller, low growing plant is said to be a shy bloomer, but when it does, the flowers are deep red. Blooms early spring & reaches roughly 2 feet tall.
Fire Rim
Flowers are openly funnel-shaped with frilly edges & light yellow colored with pink-purplish-red edge, deep red nectarines red filaments and style. Produces ball-shaped trusses of about 20 flowers. Leaves are elliptic, concave with wavy edges & dull, olive green colored. A dense grower that blooms early to mid spring & reaches roughly 3 feet tall.
Firestorm
Rich, bright red, wavy-edged blossoms are over three inches across, held in large, dome-shaped clusters. New leaves are lime green, darkening as they age. Its smaller stature makes this a versatile landscape shrub for foundation plantings and mixed borders. A vigorous, cold-hardy evergreen that can tolerate full sun. Blooms mid to late spring & reaches roughly 4 feet tall.
Halfdan Lem
Red with pink flowers are openly funnel-shaped with wavy lobes. Conical trusses hold about 11 to 13 flowers. Leaves are long, narrow & a glossy, dark green. An upright grower that can tolerate full sun. Blooms mid spring & reaches roughly 5 feet tall.
Jean Marie de Montague
A dense evergreen shrub that is a highly valued landscape ornamental. Large trusses of showy flowers appear on even young plants. Thrives in cooler regions & tolerates full sun. Very effective in foundation plantings or as an accent. Blooms mid spring & reaches roughly 5 feet tall.
Midnight
Reddish-purple flowers are broadly funnel-shaped with frilly edges & are held on trusses of about 16 flowers. Leaves are a glossy green, can tolerate full sun & has an open, vigorous growing habit. Blooms mid spring & reaches roughly 5 feet tall.
Nova Zembla
Flowers are bright red with black spots & held in ball-shaped trusses. Leaves are elliptical-shaped, glossy, thick & dark green. Has an upright habit & tolerates full sun. Blooms mid to late spring & reaches roughly 5 feet tall.

Ostbo's Red Elizabeth
Has masses of scarlet, funnel campanulate (bell-shaped) flowers. A rounded & compact shrub which is quite vigorous with an upright habit. The leaves are burgundy red, especially on young growth through the summer. Blooms in mid spring & reaches roughly 3 feet tall.
President Roosevelt
Pinky red flowers with white in the center are held in conical trusses of about 17 to 24 flowers. Leaves are thick, glossy & have irregular yellow-green variegation. Branches weak and break easily. Has a sprawling habit & can tolerate full shade. Blooms early to mid spring & reaches roughly 5 feet tall.

Produces huge red, beautiful flowers. Blooms mid spring & reaches roughly 6 feet tall.

Scarlet Wonder
Flowers are broadly funnel-shaped, wavy-edged & strong red with some very faint brown spotting in throat. Produces flat trusses of 5 -7 flowers. Leaves are heavily textured & dull, dark green. Has upright habit & grows twice as wide as tall. Blooms mid spring & reaches roughly 2 feet tall.
Taurus
Flowers are bell-shaped, have vivid, strong red coloring with darker throat & black spots on dorsal lobes. Produces ball-shaped trusses of 16 flowers. Has deep red winter buds, elliptic-shaped leaves with acute apex, rounded base that are dark green. Afternoon sun protection works best for this plant. Blooms mid spring & reaches roughly 6 feet tall.
Trilby
Flowers are a deep crimson color with a small black blotch. Leaves are a matte, grayish-green color & stems are bright red. Has an open, upright habit, blooms mid spring & reaches roughly 5 feet tall.
