Sequoia sempervirens 'Soquel'
A strong & fast growing selection of Coast redwood with compact, upswept branching holding light green foliage at first flush that darkens somewhat over the growing season. Has a broad upright growth habit & reaches roughly 25’ tall by 16’ wide in size, growing 2.5’ a year.
We are so blessed to live in this region, complete with its lush greens and pops of spring flower power everywhere. The weather sure has been nice, which might be the reason I am already in the mood to dive into some shade plants…
