Araucaria araucana
Get a taste of the Andes Mountains with this Monkey Puzzle tree. Even when small they make a bold & unique statement in the landscape. Their look stands out from other conifers due to its broad, spreading, rope-like branches. Has a broad upright growth habit & reaches 15’ tall or more, growing 12”+ a year.
We are so blessed to live in this region, complete with its lush greens and pops of spring flower power everywhere. The weather sure has been nice, which might be the reason I am already in the mood to dive into some shade plants…
